Role:Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Inspector within the organization of an Italian company operating in the installation of Electrical and Instrumentation systems and plants

 

Location  :Doha, Qatar

 

Base Requirements

 

Education:Bachelor's/College degree. Fields studied include Environmental      science, Environmental Health or Public health.

 

Languages                :    Good communication skills in English both oral and written

 

Informative Systems:MSOffice Package (Word, Excel, Power Point), Windows 

      Operating

 

Work experience:5 years minimum 

 

Age:30 years → on

 

 

Competence and Skills

√Conducts and carry out daily routine inspection of the workplace in support of HSE regulation and policies.

 

√Competences in giving advice, information and guidance to all employees ensuring a safe working environment.

 

√Ability to write and update new strategies promoting workplace safety. This may include programs which prevent accidents and reward personnel for having no mishaps, safety issues or hazards over a given time.

 

√Good knowledge on coordinating, implementing and monitoring those areas under Permit To Works System and ensure that HSE rules and regulation such as use of approved or specialized PPE’s are strictly followed.

 

√At works site, he must be able to perform Safety Tool Box meeting with Superintendents, Supervisors and workers to ensure that day-to-day construction activities are strictly monitored before, during and after the works and secure a safe working environment.

 

 

Role Description

 

Reporting to the HSE Manager and assist the company in implementing HSE policies through operating activities.

 

Responsible for conducting visits to perform safety audits, enforce legal regulations, assist personnel to develop safety programs and instruct Superintendents/Supervisors on safety procedures.

 

He will also be in-charge of investigating accidents and gathers evidence used in lawsuits, hearings and insurance investigations.
